Reflection of Beauty takes its structure from the tiled and carved archways of classical Arab and Andalusian courtyards, translated here into a textile form. The guard stripes and floral border of a vintage carpet are drawn taut around a central pane of glass, turning what was once a textile into something closer to a piece of masonry — an archway rendered in wool rather than stone.
